Too many people protected to make big $$$$$$
to do very little. Then they vote like sheep without a mind, always democrat. Well, how do you like your Marxism? ? ? ?
Alright you have posted, proving you are too dumb to live among us so PLEASE buy an assault rifle and fire off a dozen or so rounds over the head of cops during shift change at the nearest police station. Everyone will be reading about you!
30 years of union/Democratic socialism rule have resulted in Detroit being what it is today......a wasteland! If you want to see what America will look like with continued Obama leadership and the democratic/union policies.....look no further than Detroit.
I believe selfishness and greed are destroying this country. Maybe the idea of always wanting more than someone else... maybe that is the real problem. Trust me friend, while you can make a case for the people at the bottom of the ladder "ruining this country" you could very easily look at the 10-20 people who control our country and say that these people do more damage than the other 300 million plus. Heck, look what a mess 600 or so people in DC can do... D however is a well-run company who has well-trained union labor. The labor delivers quality service, and we all benefit from the fruits of their labor via stock price and dividend growth. It's not all bad!!!
Let me clear it up for you people. The Unions in Wisconsin did not care one bit for the workers. It was all about the Union leadership. When Wisconsin ceased to become a bag man for the Unions and deduct Union dues from State paychecks then Union dues became voluntary and people were no longer forced to join Unions as a condition of employment. There were 28,000 employees alone that left the 2nd largest union in Wisconsin. Indiana did the same thing a few years ago and 91% of the union members ceased paying dues etc. This was the big worry for Unions all along in Wisconsin. The Unions spent 20 million dollars in Wisconsin to try and recall Walker. In other words, they used union dues contributed by members to try to force these same members to belong to a union and keep contributing these same dues. The members also did not have any input over these dues or accounting of them.
Yep! All those benefits that we enjoy like a 40 something work week, a middle class thats larger then the elite or poor class, a better quality of life, better education, better chance of your children having a decent future, those darn unions are responsible for it.
What was life in American before the labor movement? Why don't we go back at look at every decade in America before Unions got to the point they are now? Every decade we had a tiny upper class, a large underclass and a SMALL middle class.
So unless you're an elitist who doesn't like the fact that so many more people can enjoy their life, then the entire country should be very very worried when people like you think life was better before unions existed.
Under every single republican running for president, quality of life will go down. It sure did under the Bush administration, and unlike Romney's thinking that America has the best standard of living in the world, the fact is that we are not even in the top 10. And if this country ends up being run by a republican, we will definitely drop further.
So take your short term memory and try to learn something about this country, and not be so greedy.
You can call people who believe in some level of government involvment marxists, but I call you an elitest who probably think those who don't believe the way you believe are parasites. I'll take a country with government involvment over anything you propose, because in my world, I have a better chance of passing a decent life forward to my children.
How much do you want government out of our lives? All of it? What part of it do you want removed? For example I like that there is an FDA out there and though they make mistakes, I trust them more then company A or a Chinese company having the ability to put all the crap in my food they want, and then if I discover it, not be able to sue them because I can't afford it.
Then you should move to Wisconsin, a$$hole. And when you go from a middle class citizen to below the poverty line, you can thank YOUR governor for his ineptness. This governor has been successful in using labor unions as scapegoats for his inability to balance the budget in Wisconsin. Maybe HE needs to take a pay cut. Maybe HE needs to look in his own house before he portrays organized labor as the villains here.
Since D is unionized, there are no moronic posts about unions on this board. BECAUSE D is unionized, their work force is far superior to many non-unionized companies. And I in turn have made a lot of money off of the hard working UNIONIZED D workers.
$$$$$$$$? You mean just like the big bankers, wall street brokers and mortgage company executives who actually did ruin this country's financial system. Or do you mean the CEO's that precipitate a company's decline in pps and are asked to leave (fired) but, with multi million dollar severance packages. Those Union folks really have a nerve, don't they, to ask for a fair wage. Firemen, Police Officers, Nurses, Teachers, EMT's Welders, Mechanics etc. It's Communism, that's what it is. Fire them all, I say.
