The Sierra Club loses it's fight to halt D's LNG export plans. Good!
Obama and The Sierra Club have done everything possible to stop the development of jobs, cheaper fuels, and industrial growth by blocking the XL Pipeline and any other plan to unlock America's huge Oil, Gas and Coal resources.
After a Maryland judge issued it's ruling, the Sierra Club issued a statement saying it was disappointed by the ruling and reviewing the decision.
"We will continue to work to protect the Chesapeake Bay and the surrounding region from the dangerous pollution that would result from Dominion's unwise plans to frack and export natural gas," said Craig Segall, a Sierra Club attorney.
Please educate yourself on the current/future energy outlook in the U.S. U.S. will be the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world within 5-7 years. With Natural gas prices in the U.S. at
$ 4....and prices elsewhere throughout the world at $14 - $16, What do you think that U.S. companies will look to do?!? Natural Gas is bein "flared off" (burned to the atmoshphere) in North Dakota because there are no pipelines to get it to market! Millions of $$ a day burining up to the atmosphere! The U.S. has more oil and natural gas than it needs......so companies are going to look to make $$$ by exporting it. Figure this one out.....the U.S. gov't. prohibits the exporting of Natural Gas (except for Cheniere) but liquids made from "wet" natural gas like propane, butane and others can be freely exported today. There is an infrastructure issue getting these to market.
