doc_3377 I didn't say it was causing the decline in PCYC what i said was i am in the stock for the buyout an bidding will begin in early April. It's a cash cow.P.S. i still own PCYC and believe in Ibrutinib ..The stock is in a funk now and i don't know where the bottom is.
doc_3377 I know what you are talking about .An experimental therapy that alters cancer patients' own immune cells to identify a dangerous type of leukemia has also reduced tumors and sent the cancer into remission in adults, according to a new study published in Science Translational Medicine.I don't believe its that.IMO.Somthing that i bought a a month ago LIFE why this is why. (Reuters) - Roche Holding AG and a buyout group comprising KKR & Co LP and Hellman & Friedman LLC have joined the bidding for Life Technologies Corp, a genetic testing company coveted for its advanced diagnostics and steady cash flow, according to people familiar with the matter.
This will start in April.
There was an article in the New York Times discussing a new treatment for ALL. I wonder if people are selling due to the potential in other cancers. Seems crazy anyone would sell given how early stage that is, small number treated (n=5), potential side effects (one pt got sepsis) and that this is for pts who have no other options (all pts got bone Marrow transplants). All that said I wonder if - and I think this is a mistake - people less familiar with the leukemia markets are selling. Pcyc, Infi and Aria all seem down more than the biotech market. Once dust settles I am buying more of each of these names!
