Anyone know how much $$ PURE is getting from its 2008 suit v Arata?

If you check the status on the CA court web site, you see this for one of the entries:

103 02/09/2010 Writ of Execution issued (Los Angeles) Total judgment award ($9,685,304.50) against Andrew B. Arata and for Pure Bioscience

The most recent one is this:

109 04/30/2013 Order After Hearing (Allowing the withdrawal of Deposited Trust Funds) filed by Pure Bioscience.\nRefers to: Arata, Andrew Pure Bioscience (Plaintiff)

Are they really going to get $9M from this?

    • Ancient history. Pure will not collect any significant monies from the action against Arata. Management expended hundreds of thousands of shareholder dollars to little effect.

It's a sordid, incestuous blend of greed, ineptness, insecurity and fiscal disregard. IMHO, of course.

    • Good Luck.

      • From time to time, we may become involved in various lawsuits and legal proceedings that arise in the ordinary course of our business. The impact and outcome of litigation, if any, is subject to inherent uncertainties, and any adverse result in these or other matters may arise from time to time that could harm our business. We are not currently aware of any such legal proceedings or claims to which we or our wholly owned subsidiary is a party or of which any of our property is subject that we believe will have, individually or in the aggregate, a material adverse effect on our business, financial condition or results of operations.
