    Sales $1.7 billion = 171 stock?

<Turns out the plasma was bought for a few dollars from US homeless people, drug addicts without being screened fro HepC. >

just a little editing of your statement as we had 8 plasma banks and 12 blood banks. poor people and others looking for some extra money sold plasma twice a week on a regular basis. plasma was screened for hepatitis but at that time the sceening process was not nearly effective. drug companies who bought the plasma thought the vaccine process would eliminate any tainted products. that proved not to be true. now the screening process is light years better.

also, i love vrtx but couldn't explain it if i stood on my head.
