    DING DING

"Susquehanna International Group analyst Ding Ding thinks firms in Europe and the U.S. are increasingly turning to China for these services. And WuXi, as the "go-to" firm in that space, should do well."

I guess ding ding still has a job as an analyst after she apparently must have been fired from her previous job. To refresh your memory, she was the one who had a strong sell for vrtx with a price target of I believe $19.

    • She was right. But since then, Vertex Management has diluted the share value substantianlly. I would decrease that sell target to $10.

    • An equally memorable call was made about the same time by Flynn of Lazard with the target price of 13. My record shows that the traders faithfully followed the 'order' to bring the share price down below 14 on March 11 of 2008. They are the two great calls of 2008 together with Ding squared's call. I am sure many long term investors gave up their shares near the 4 year bottom, and they would have been heartsick if they didn't buy back. Analysts should be very careful in making 'sell' and 'strong sell' calls. Because there are so many unknown factors in drug developments, and analysts' calls are well respected, they should be very very careful in making extreme calls.

    • Yes Glad her name definitely rings a Bell. lol
