    earnings will be low

    stock is acting really weak the last couple of weeks. vrtx to post a loss is my guess. they leaked the news and stock is acting accordingly. we'll see 30's soon.

      Anyone investing in this stock based on current earnings is a fool. Last year, after beating earnings estimates by a wide margin, the stock fell steeply for months. What really matters as far as the stock price is what happens with their cystic fibrosis clinical trials over the next 6 to 12 months.

      You know the standard, sell on the rumor, buy on the news. I think the stock has taken into account low earnings and is pricing accordingly. I although, see it as a buying opportunity

        I have so much of this but in the 50's. it's weak. someone is dumping and knows something is my guess. I wish earnings would come 30 cents or higher but somehow I think they have some charges or junk sales and earnings will be negative or around a penny or so. Why did they delay till thursday (earnings report)?? they should have been ready for monday before the storm. and why not today? should we read into the thursday release as negative news is coming?
