Realistically it will yield about 12-14% and most likely will be quarterly distributions like REM.

You could buy REM which is similar to MORT and has been around longer and yields about the same. I still prefer to buy the high yielding mREITS individually (AGNC, ARR, HTS, NLY, etc.).
