Money: For the nine months ended 9/30/99, revenues rose 54% to $10.2 million. Net loss fell 86% to $388 thousand. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/invsub/analyst/earnest.asp?Page=EarningsSur prise&Symbol=JCDA For the last two quarters JCDA has been profitable, beating earning estimates by 133% and 300%. Ok, so they only made .01 and .02 cents, but that does say a lot about a well thought out business model and that JCDA is not going to go under as many of the bullcrap companies will. Earnings estimates for next year have almost doubled from where they were 90 days ago . . . from .11 to .20 cents.
The Tuts: Since the period that the earning of estimates was raising the institutions have come on like stink on shit . . . http://www.insidertrader.com/freestuff/ticker_summary.asp?search=1&criteria=jcda buying 10% more of JCDA to raise the total institutional ownership to 25.8% of the float. Who are the tuts? Goldman Sachs, JANUS, Advent, Wall Street, US Bankcorp, Lehman Brothers and more. You get the picture. Lets do some math. Shares Outstanding 16.9 million x Tut ownership 25.8% = Tut shares 4.5 million. Hum, that number sure sounds familiar, oh yeah, 4.5 million is the float http://biz.yahoo.com/p/j/jcda.html . I'd say the tuts kind of like JCDA.
Why do the TUTS like/love JCDA http://www.jacada.com/ ?: Maybe because they have been buds with IBM since 1990 http://www.jacada.com/Partners/Ibm.htm . Could be that they are tangoing with SUN. Or maybe they saw the business solution they implemented for Computer Associates, "Jacada for CA-TELON provides a seamless solution which automatically generates graphical thin clients - all without changing anything in the CA-Telon application!" . Then again it might be that JCDA has more than 1000 customers http://www.jacada.com/Customers ? Bank of America, BMW, Nabisco, Petsmart, Saks, Bellcore, Toyota . . . etc.
