DuPont Does Not Make Commodity Chemicals!??

DuPont Management's Beijing-Style Brainwashing of the Masses & Media: Not a Chemical Company!

    THE WEAK IN REVIEW

Readers, the more that DuPont's DuPlicitous bosses and their PR con artists struggle to frame the diminished DuPont Company as some sort of cutting edge "science-based" technology outfit and bio-boutique, the more we laugh at the dishonesty. Only yesterday, DuPont Chieftess Ellen Kullman gushed to Bloomberg (Aug. 10, 2012) that the focus is "food, fuel, and safety." No chemicals? Avowed DuPont employees and PR operatives working the net insist a prissy DuPont is not in the dirty business of making basic commodity chemicals any longer...that is soooooo last century.

WHAT?? DuPont happens to be the world's largest producer of TIO2. Now if the dusty, grinding business of making titanium dioxide is not manufacturing a basic industrial commodity chemical, we don't know what is! What does Ms. Kullman call her trainloads of DuPont replenished sulphuric acid for sale? High technology specialty innovations? DuPont's clumsy bosses even call their ordinary building supply materials such as their 50-year old Corian countertops (the look of the 1980's) and Tyvek home insulation, "DuPont Building Innovations".

In denying the reality that DuPont is mostly in the business of making and selling basic and specialty chemicals and materials, Ms. Kullman manages to insult thousands of her regular workers moiling and toiling in the noise and fumes and dangers of her severely cost-slashed chemical plants. These are the same workers whose dedicated labour has made her ultra-rich, paying her $15 million a year in pay and perks and luxury private jet use.

Merely, THE WEAK IN REVIEW digitally penned by one individual investor and long-time student of the never-deal-on-the-level DuPont Company.

    • but like an attorney you avoided the questions, now take your time and answer them damit lol...

BTW JPM much more dangerous than BAC! BAC is run by the federal GOV. The FED GOV is run by JPM Hee Hee.

    • Do they even sell any Corian anymore? and Tyvek seems like a big time commodity? I don't know allot about DuPont, but these products can't be helping growth, looks like they are doing well in Ag's.... I think DD will buy HUN pretty soon, just makes sense. Boy you really do hate this company, they must have screwed you over real bad. I do remember reading some negative press on DuPont and Teflon plants hurting people? Oh well there is always a cost in Chemical production activities, I guess as a socitey we have to weigh the cost benefits. I would ask you these question> Do you hate America? Do you hate Dow chemical? Do you have central air? Do you have Formica on your countertops? Does your computer run on energy and have plastic parts? Do you like the taste of your toothpaste? Does your toothbrush have a platic part? Do you drive a car? Have you tried to gain a seat on DuPonts Corp Board? I neither like or hate DuPont, they run a for profit business in the chemical industry, I find that this uindustry has made our live better, but with pit falls, I think we always need watchdogs, just be fair and balanced. Full disclosure I own DD in some ETF's...

      • DuPont Management ("No Imagination At Work!") is still peddling easily scorched and scratched plastic Corian as a "DuPont Building Innovation" even though this commodity construction supply has been out in the market for over 50 years. Still pumping this overpriced building material, even though far more durable and less expensive natural surfaces such as granite and marble have zoomed in popularity.

For the record, we do not have any animosity against this Company nor against any of its officers or executives or Directors. We simply believe DuPont Management never comes clean with its owners or consumers or regular employees. As long as the big bosses of DuPont are evasive and secretive, deceitfully dodging environmental disasters like Imprelis (Tell Us!) and the vilely toxic Teflon chemical, PFOA or C8, or stealing patented "innovation" from superior rivals, we are going to be speaking out loudly and consistently as a citizen at large and DD shareholder.

As for balance, DuPont is represented by an aggressive army of lobbyists and lawyers, PR con artists and IMAGE consultants, public affairs community tricksters, undsoweiter with a massive annual budget for Beijing-style brainwashing and propaganda and a huge inventory of dirty tricks.
