Ms. Kullman Smiles & Fakes Ag Innovation!

Imprelis, Tell Us. DuPont An Embarrassingly Lagging Also-Ran to Monsanto, Syngenta

Good Morning, Bonjour, Guten Tag, Buenos Dias,

"It is likely that Du Pont will stay at the forefront of innovations [in agriculture]".

We respectfully disagree. DuPont Management's first major effort to develop and commercialise a first-generation genetically-modified seed trait to compete with superior-performing Monsanto, called DuPont OptimumGAT, has been a dismal failure. Indeed and in fact it was the deliberate and fraudulent attempt to cover up this colossal failure that led to findings by Judge Richard Webber of the Missouri U. S. District in the Monsanto patent infringement case that DuPont had knowingly engaged in fraud on the court, as well as defrauding investors and the public as to DuPont's seed business! Stealing and using Monsanto's seed know-how and refusing to pay for it prompted the federal jury to award Monsanto $1 billion, which may be increased to $3 billion to reflect punitive damages. DuPont is appealing the award.

The egregious misconduct of DuPont's unethical Management hardly inspires confidence amongst investors, especially in the agricultural arena. Currently, DuPont lags embarrassingly behind Monsanto in global seeds, and behind Syngenta in global crop protection chemicals. In enzymes and food additives, the now dismembered and demoralised Danisco lags behind world leader, Novozyme.

    • Readers, DuPont Senior Management and their PR flacks and hacks with their constant Beijing-style propaganda have been successful in fooling many analysts into believing the dysfunctional DuPont is somehow a leader in agricultural innovation.

The above quote, "It is likely that DuPont will stay at the forefront of innovation, " was penned by an otherwise insightful and articulate analyst for MOTLEY FOOL, Damon Churchill. See "Can DD Bounce Back...," 02-22-13.

      ...funfun..
