DuPont's Bumbling Bosses Cannot Compete Profitably in Chemicals
Once Mighty DuPont Devolves Into Disintegration and Dismembering
Good Morning, Bonjour, Guten Tag, Buenos Dias,
Readers, for practically all of the last century, DuPont reigned supreme as the biggest and best chemical enterprise on the planet. Then 15 years ago the chemical colossus was seized by a decidedly inferior leadership, which did not know how to compete profitably in chemicals and chemical-related products. What does DuPont's PR-driven Management do to evade accountability and embarrassment over performance failure? They dump the business, such as...
* CONSOL, coal
* Conoco, Inc., oil and gas
* Medical Instruments
* Fabrics and finishes
* Automotive paints
* and now, Teflon, TIO2, acids, fluorochemicals, such as the potentially explosive and toxic-flammable Kullman Koolant for car A/C (HFO-1234yf).
The commercial reality is not only have much larger organisations, such as BASF, Dow Chemical, and ExxonMobil out produced and sold in chemicals, but so have superior-managed smaller companies such as Eastman Chemicals and FMC and Syngenta.
What to do? Bail out of chemicals, and pretend it's "headwinds" and cyclicality that are driving your strategy to exit chemicals, when superior-managed rivals all around you are making big money on chemicals, showing powerful growth.
Whom do these fakers in the Fortress think they are fooling?
Merely the morning column of one individual investor and long-time student of the disintegrating non-chemical DuPont...funfun..
Wow, the unethical trash in the DuPont Management school are frantic to divert your attention from the disintegration of this once mighty and most respected chemical enterprise.
They repeat the outright LIE and LIBEL the undersigned was "fired" from DuPont. Absolutely false, of course. But it goes to show you what a creepy culture of unalloyed dishonesty infects this dirty Company and its sleazy DuPont Management supporters and surrogates.
So, after chemicals and related products, what is left at the shrunken and shrinking DuPont? What remains after DuPont Chieftess Ellen Kullman cancels 20% of her Company revenues and 29% or her earnings from chemicals?
Unfortunately for DuPont's long-suffering shareholders, DuPont is a pronounced laggard, second-place and second rate in...
* Seeds to Monsanto
* Ag chemicals and crop protection to Syngenta
* Enzymes and food additives to Novozymes
* Lawn and garden retail products to Scotts MIRACLE-GRO
Where does DuPont lead? Oh, maybe it's corn cob "gasoline" long touted by DuPont's PR-obsessed bosses as the "Sustainable" fuel of the future. But there is no evidence to date that any of this bad mileage ethanol from corn stalks and cobs has been churned out in commercial quantities for sale, much less made a dime in profits.
