Reply: In reality, banks do fade away when they are purchased by larger banks. However, multinational banks are not interested in purchasing small asset banks, only the small regional banks banks buy out the small ones like WIBC. Since WIBC caters mostly to the Korean communities, it is unlikely that another bank would buy it because of cultural differences.
The "anh" in your screen names, indicates that you are a Korean and therefore, you are a loyal customer and shareholder of WIBC.
Are you familiar with or perhaps related to the Ahn Trio who are originally from Korea and now reside in NYC. I believe GrooveBox is their most recent album and it is pretty good one. For further information go to: www.ahntrio.com
