Is the dividend going to be cut again/altogether going forward hence the yield won't be 17% again? it will be awesome if dividend can go up again in the future. at this price seems like a good deal. any going concern issue?

Hi Shmolton. Remember me from the NTST and MDPA board. I've been there with MDF since the .30 and still holding today, and right now I'm buying more AOB (can be fraud and go to $0 but if it is not fraud I think the upside is good).
What's your thought on DHT? I'm thinking about buying some.
I also have ESEA. The family owning a substantial portion of the company has been in shipping much longer than DHT's management. :) I'm sure ESEA's management has seen this type of environment, or worse, many times in the past.
AXST may be another MDF in the making.... was AFT on the AMEX but got delisted to AXST.PK Now has $7.6 million Sprint contract and jumped from 8 cents to 40 .... Rumor of a Verizon contract and Extension of the Sprint deal... If so back to a buck or two like DHT...
MMI is associated with several buyouts? Read that in Seeking Afpha blurb in mid December? -- Any truth to that?
The numbers are correct, but the concern is the tanker sector is overbuilt with more ships on the way, and, DHT has some charters ending in 2012, that probably cause a reduction in revenues. Also, tanker prices have been dropping, causing DHT to pay down its debt to keep its LTV in compliance, and, no one knows exactly when or at what price the decline in values will end. Those two uncertainties have driven off people who want a relatively certain result, especially on the continuance of the dividend.
However, as you have noted, it also provides an opportunity for those who believe DHT will survive and prosper. I think it is probably a "long term" play of two or more years to receive the full profits from the stock.
Yes the numbers are right....
It is almost too much to be real
can't find any investment like this anywhere else
strange so many doubt this and that so many have not found it yet.
They must be playing around with AMR instead....that must be a more sure investment.....
