I'm going to remember that one. That's good.

    • You must be retired and don't have to worry about losing your job like hundreds of thousands have. Also, you'll probably collect your social security paid for by the baby boomers. As for us, who knows.

    • The nation's economy was strong for President Clinton's two terms. Everything has just fallen apart under Bush. Convince me otherwise.

Swap, exchange or any other word play, it's NOT a GAIN for AT&T shareholders and THAT IS THE POINT!

Well, thank you for admitting the truth.

Both AT&T and Comcast have stated it correctly, it is basically a stock swap - nothing more.

It is a total misrepresentation to AT&T stockholders to say they are adding $7.50
      to each AT&T share - HORSE&^&*!
      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It does not add value to the AT&T share holder but it is also NOT A STOCK SWAP. BTY, it is .32 shares currently, not .34 because of the new shares issued. And it could still go lower.

    • if you're so up to date, why do consistently keep stating .34 when it's been published for weeks that it's probably gonna be .32?

    • That's what U were saying back when this pig was $ 14 Billy Bob!!!

As long as this company has

      Crap Management!
      Corrupt Management!!
      Crap Service!!!
      Crap Customer Service!!!!

U can bet that this stock will stay in the Crapper!!!

So Billy-Bob we R not laughing with U, but at U!!!

      Brahahahahahahahahha!!!!

    • Like the man said. If the head mule is'nt pulling, the rest arn't going to budge.

And how it's NOT an EXCHANGE of 1 AT&T share for .34 share of Comcast as it was explained by BOTH AT&T and Comcast.
      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
exchange-to give, hand over, or transfer for another thing in return. Webster's New World Dictionary IT IS NOT an exchange of 1 AT&T share for .34 share of Comcast. You keep
      the AT&T share.

      ===============================================

You do, in fact keep your AT&T share, but the point is (as was the ERROR of the article) that you DO NOT gain an added $7.50 to every AT&T share from the deal - and YOU KNOW THAT!

The AT&T (stub) share that remains will lose the exact amount of the transfer to the .34 Comcast share - and YOU KNOW THAT!

So, if AT&T is $10 per share and Comcast is $21 per share, AT&T shareholders will get .34 of a share of Comcast (a $7.14 value) for their AT&T, but AT&T would be $2.86 ($10 minus the $7.14 transfer value of Comcast) on the day of the finalization.

THAT IS THE POINT, AT&T shareholders GAIN NOTHING in ADDED SHARE PRICE just because of the deal - YOU KNOW IT, I KNOW IT and THE MARKET KNOWS IT!

Now, if ha_ha_we_won_you_lost (or you or anyone else) would like to back up his point that this is wrong, I'm listening.

I would love to buy AT&T and have it gain $7.50 overnight just because of the Comcast (scam) deal, but that just ain't so, IS IT?

The article was WRONG, ha_ha_we_won_you_lost is WRONG and so are you if you agree with that crap.

Both AT&T and Comcast have stated it correctly, it is basically a stock swap - nothing more.

It is a total misrepresentation to AT&T stockholders to say they are adding $7.50 to each AT&T share - HORSESHIT!

Good luck to all good people.
