what about the possibility of T buying Qwest.
Qwest is a disaster. Saw one of their trucks over the weekend in Albuquerque. It was so beat up that it looked like it was lucky to be running. I suspect that the leadership of Qwest has stripped all the value from the company and are just waiting for the right time to put it into bankruptsy.
AT&T doesn't need Quest's IXC network. It has plenty of network capacity. AT&T needs access to the customer. Quest's customers are the least valued of the former Regional Bell companies.
Boy this board is basically devoid of any constructive talk about T but here's a thought.
Instead of T being acquired what about the possibility of T buying Qwest. T's paper is valued fairly well right now, what does Dorman have to lose????????
>>Hey, pebblehead, since when do you rely on those left-wing, peacenik, lousy lyin' liberal commie rat-bastards over at PBS, for factual information? Oh, I know. When it suits your purpose. LOL.<<
screw you echo!!
what basis do you have to shoot your mouth off saying that i have a bias against pbs?
unlike you, i don't kill the message because of the messenger.
"screw you echo!!what basis do you have to shoot your mouth off..."
So, I guess that means you haven't seen it yet, huh?
Pebbs, you really gotta' chill somewhat, man. It's too late in your life to be battlin' everybody. Do a Yahoo board search on your name, and the posts on multiple boards read like a High School Debate team...you against the world...and, one might reasonably conclude, that you're losin' all of 'em. Frightening, my friend. I'll bet you're really a nice person...apparently very frustrated, but nice, nevertheless. I wasn't even close to attacking you in that post. Just tongue in cheek satire...tell me, now, you aren't exactly a PBS fan are you? Gonna' have Bill Moyers to your autobiography by any chance? Come on, now, most of what I said was true, so pick better arguments to fight, or, as the purpose of my post, watch that and spend some of your intelligence on something more important than your own ego. But, above all, enjoy your evening, my friend.
