I do read the paper but last night I started a book too. It "The End of the Line" by Leslie Cauley. For those interested in the history of AT&T, it is very interesting. I just got to the part about John Walter. Do any of you remember him? I believe that he got the most money for the shortest stay of any high level executive at AT&T or, maybe, any other company.
The fall of AT&T will be studied for years but everyone will come to the same conclusion. High level management killed the company.
