Tell me why the CWA refuses to "progress" and adopt healthcare savings accounts (HSA's) for its members? An HSA with a major medical insurance policy would get the monkey off the compnany's back and would offer employees change they can believe in! Employees ought to be incharge off their healthcare! Since the CWA argues that they are highly skilled and have built this company, surely they are smart enough to manage their own healthcare.
‘slug next to you who has the same job title but texts, sends personal e-mail all day, and quits work at exactly 4:59 pm every day’
nicely made up, or can you produce proof of the above statement, otherwise, just nonsense from another jack-off shill who has not a clue about telecommunications
There are thousands of union members who want to get into management because they've heard you can actually get paid for doing a better job than the slug next to you who has the same job title but texts, sends personal e-mail all day, and quits work at exactly 4:59 pm every day. What a concept, being individually recognized for going above and beyond the norm? I know, seems sort of foreign to the socialist unions, who kill individual initiative.
We have several low level mgrs. who have stated several times they want to go back to craft! They're just too scared that they'll be fired if they ask! The sad part is there are now openings in craft from recent retirees.
Why can't union members be in charge? That's like asking, why can't a drunk with hiccups be on the bomb squad. YOUR union is scrambling to make ends meet since they're hurting for money, YOUR money. Ask them why they keep sucking dues from YOUR paycheck even though the union contract is lapsed. Then sit back and watch them squirm for an answer.
