You're lucky they're still not implementing those Civil War methods to save money. Two guys ( on steroids - modern improvement ) will hold you down and after sawbones wipes the rust of the saw, will transform you into a "half soldier" ( I believe it was from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" )...no anesthesia... you might also get a sore throat from screaming...they might give you some throat lozinges...if you have extra coverage...
