Racists just hate to be called racists

I took off work today and decided to see what was going on here at T. I think I found a bunch of old bigots, their grandkids taught them how to cut and paste so they can repeat every anti Obama crap they read. They forget how a Republican President got over 4,000 American soldiers killed in Iraq, FOR NO REASON. They forget how the wars in Iraq and Afagan. were never funded by that WHITE president. They are lemmings who rail against their own interests.

    • You mean the camps in Kurdistan, that alternatively fought the Kurds and Iraqi forces, depending on the alliance of the day, but were ultimately outside of Iraqi control? Nice try.

After all of the contacts described in the 9/11 Commission report, here is the only quote that matters (pg. 66, paragraph 3):

"The reports describe friendly contacts and indicate some common themes in both sides' hatred of the United States. But to date we have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States."

To claim the 9/11 Commission Report supports a link between Iraq and 9/11 or a cooperative relationship simply because it describes some meetings and some operations of Al Qaeda in Iraq is completely disingenuous. It is contrary to the stated conclusion of the 9/11 Commission.

Hmmmm. Let's see now... Could it have something to do with the terrorist training camps in Northern Iraq? Could it have something to do with Saddam meeting and coordinating things with terrorst groups?

I can come up with the quotes from the 911 commission report too... Did you read it?

    • Agree but forget color of our presidents and consider that current one promised to get us out of the wars previous president started! Didn't happen. Instead escalation and new potential war in Lybia.
Current president spent first two years ignoring top two problems jobs and housing and left his two right hand people work a Medicare plan that kicks in 5 years later?? Lack of experience since he had none??
Now it is all about jobs!! Shovel reading money wasted? I know it would have been worse if that hadn't wasted $800 billion! Promised unemployment would not go over 8% if they passed the stimulus! Experinece? Mistake? Miscalculated. Know what would happen to a new CEO who took on a turnaround situation and missed top priorities and goals? They would show him the door no matter what color is was. Color is not relavent in either of these presidents. All politicians suck!

      • Obama promised to send at least two additional combat brigades to Afghanistan during the campaign. His goal was to finish the job in Afghanistan and then get out, not to simply get us out. What that means or has ever meant is anyone's guess--same for Iraq. But I think Obama's surge was necessary to further disrupt terrorism in N. Pakistan, allow us to negotiate from strength with the Taliban, and to give some semblance of a chance to the nation-building exercise Bush undertook.

You also claim that Obama ignored jobs and housing, and then complain about the magnitude of his response to it. A new CEO that takes the reins of a failing company and turns it around is generally rewarded.

Now Obama never promised to keep unemployment under 8 percent. His administration released an economic report with some heavily qualified and footnoted projections. Conservative commentators have said this was a "promise". If Obama's inexperience has shown through at all, it is in his underestimate of the dishonesty of political pundits and the willful gullibility of people who only hear what they want to.

      • Yep, it makes no difference what this man's color is, what he thinks it is or what color the voters think he is...he is an inexperienced failure.

    • where is elvis??

    • Hey Freak-out idiot... you are on Ignore!!!!

Folks, is freakedout3's post the direction that the libs are taking us in this budget / debt ceiling battle and into the 2012 election cycle -- it's still all Bush's fault -- or is freakedout3 just an anomaly?

Is Congresswoman Shiela Jackson-Lee's comments about this being racist for real or just an anomaly?

IMHO, Obama has been POTUS long enough that he has skin in the game. Where we are at now is his doing, and that of the Democrat-controlled Congress that was present during the first two year's of BHO's presidency.

I also reject the racist charges. I remember being vocal in the same manner during the first two years of the Clinton presidency, when the economy was poor and there was a stimulus and tax increases. It's the policies, not the skin color that matter.

    • What would be your response to terrorists flying jets into our buildings and killing 3000 Americans, do nothing or perhaps apologize for making them mad?
