Red States creating 90%++ of new jobs, wonder why...

"Six of the ten (Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming) have been conservative strongholds for decades. Montana, though its governor and two senators are currently Democrats, has been a red state in all but one presidential election since 1972. The final three highlighted above — Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin — were previously governed by Democrats who were replaced with GOP governors this year. All three are in the early stages of what may be remarkable turnarounds. I call them “the newly-reds.”

    • ...and you pathetic individuals are this very, very sad this is what our proud nation has fallen should be ashamed of yourselves...but anonymity offers something previously unknown...hence the recent supreme court decision... I'm moving.

    • People don't understand. Obamacare may not yet be fully implemented, but behind the scenes, things are happening. Doctors are retiring in droves. Telco's are making big money building networks to transmit x-rays & scans. Did you think these medical outfits were going to eat all of these costs. Join a Union, become a religious leader, (preacher/pastor's, etc), are exempt. Become Amish. How come there aren't any Black Amish? I hope the Tea Party only allows Obamacare to continue, if The Senate is required to join. That should kill it immediately.

    • You are mistaken. You aren't considering racism. America is a racist state. Just ask Mouchelle Obama, if you are not yet convinced. Areas like Arizona, and Texas are really suspect. These areas are obviously taken advantage of poor people. Each night hundreds of illegals are being kidnapped, and brought against their will to work here wage free. Obama, actually is glad, cause he knows, these legions of poor people will one day vote Democratic. I only wish Barry cared about our people as much as he cares about his re-election. It's all about Barry, the working poor citizen will vote Dem, anyway. The are just pawns in Barry's march to insolvency.

    • That previous Amen went to the posting about low hanging fruit and blind political greed and selfishness, not to the poster who is so narrow minded that he sees only one side of the argument and, like Tea Party advocates, cannot spout anything except what Rush tells them to post or say.

    • Amen!

    • I'm a cheesehead and we are on the right track w/ our new Repulican govenor. In 2010 we took control of all 3 legislative bodies. The commie response. They disrupted the govenors appearance at a developmentally disabled event.
I think the socialists are disabled. God help us all.

    • Bleeding heart liberal blue states are bleeding their populations. Liberal policies have failed and left destruction, despair and little hope in their wake, as they always do. Obama’s liberal policies will eventually do the same thing to America unless he is defeated next year. People (even unemployed liberals) are fleeing to red states, where freedom, jobs and economic growth abound, as this article notes. How many lives, job & economies must be destroyed before people reject sure-to-fail liberal policy everywhere?

    • my little fan of Leon Troskey the Republicans had a plan.

The House passed H. Res. 9, a resolution instructing House committees to develop legislation replacing the job-killing health care law. Committees are currently doing their work to hold hearings and examine solutions to lower costs, increase access to quality care, and strengthen the doctor-patient relationship.

      Enact Medical Liability Reform
Skyrocketing medical liability insurance rates have distorted the practice of medicine, routinely forcing doctors to order costly and often unnecessary tests to protect themselves from lawsuits, often referred to as "defensive medicine." We will enact common-sense medical liability reforms to lower costs, rein in junk lawsuits and curb defensive medicine.
Purchase Health Insurance across State Lines
Americans residing in a state with expensive health insurance plans are locked into those plans and do not currently have an opportunity to choose a lower cost option that best meets their needs. We will allow individuals to buy health care coverage outside of the state in which they live.
      Expand Health Savings Accounts
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are popular savings accounts that provide costeffective health insurance to those who might otherwise go uninsured. We will improve HSAs by making it easier for patients with high-deductible health plans to use them to obtain access to quality care. We will repeal the new health care law, which prevents the use of these savings accounts to purchase over-the-counter medicine.
Ensure Access for Patients with Pre-Existing Conditions
Health care should be accessible for all, regardless of pre-existing conditions or past illnesses. We will expand state high-risk pools, reinsurance programs and reduce the cost of coverage. We will make it illegal for an insurance company to deny coverage to someone with prior coverage on the basis of a pre-existing condition, eliminate annual and lifetime spending caps, and prevent insurers from dropping your coverage just because you get sick. We will incentivize states to develop innovative programs that lower premiums and reduce the number of uninsured Americans.
Permanently Prohibit Taxpayer Funding of Abortion
We will establish a government-wide prohibition on taxpayer funding of abortion and subsidies for insurance coverage that includes abortion. This prohibition would go further and enact into law what is known as the Hyde Amendment as well as ban other instances of federal subsidies for abortion services. We will also enact into law conscience protections for health care providers, including doctors, nurses, and hospitals.

    • Health care costs were rising way too fast, but they were being fed by scare tactics of the federal government, aided in the quest for increased profits by federal government regulations and political power moves.

There were any ways to lower health care costs in this country without the mystery, political maneuvering and lying of ObamaCare. Congress, particularly the Democratic Party didn't want to take the time to find the changes they should have discover several years ago. That would say publicly that we haven't been doing our jobs and there is little political advantage in angering some of our biggest supporters.

ObamaCare is extreme overkill and the Democrats used it more the crush rising Republican power than anything. They needed a big hammer and Pelosi stepped right up swinging even to go so far as to claim we had to do this so we could see what it is we did. That was real show of political arrogance and ignorance.

Congress has not effectively doing their jobs for decades and spend all their time blaming the other guys and never looking for the best solutions because they might find one that points to the fact their Party is on the wrong side of the argument.

    • I agree and I doubt they actually want to fix the debt problem right now. There goes our credit rating.
