I contract spliced in Naples and Ft. Myers for years when Mastec was the SSP. I've goten numerous phone calls asking if I would be interested working a T strike. Wouldn't do it for $30 some a hour (got $100/hr during the last VZ strike). I've been quoted prices in the $50+ range + $100 a day per diem.
How can there be talk of a strike if business is so good that T feels like they need to increase the dividend payout by over 200 million dollars on 5,900,300,000 shares every year ....... wouldn't you take care of the employees first before increasing the dividends we all ask ?
