It is unbelievable this hate crime was hardly reported by the national media and this type of hate occurs in America. President Obama and the DOJ need to put a spotlight on this event and make sure all involved are prosecuted under our hate crime laws.

NYDN A 13-year-old boy who police say was doused with gasoline and lit on fire last week while walking home from school is recovering from first-degree burns to his face and head.
The boy was just two blocks from his home in Kansas City Tuesday when two teenagers began to follow him and then attacked him, his mother, Melissa Coon, said.
Police have described the suspects as black 16-year-olds, while the victim is white.
"We were told it's a hate crime," Coon told KTLA
Lots of drugs in KC. Half of them don't know what the hell they're doing. KC is a spawning ground for violent crime and kidnapping, guns and drug abuse. Didn't the BTK serial killer come from around KC? Last time I was in KC I ran into a "flasher" during an early morning walk in the park. Anything goes in KC--even dousing a boy with gasoline and setting him ablaze. I don't see it as a hate crime. Those 2 black teens probably would've set a black kid on fire too. There's plenty of black-on-black crime. Too many drugs & too many idiots carrying loaded guns.
So can anyone explain why the teen incident in florida is getting national attention and the teen incident in kc, no one in the country knows anything about?
Despite the horrific nature of the crime, there is nothing really interesting about the KC case. Police will (hopefully) catch the perpetrators, arrest them, charge them and convict them of a hate crime.
The Florida case is different in that the perpetrator was not arrested and may have a legally valid defense under a controversial Florida law.
Another hate crime case that received national attention was the Rutgers student who secretly filmed his roommate. A jury convicted him of "bias intimidation" under NJ law in a case that tested, and maybe stretched, the limits of hate crime laws.
"...why do you think that is?..."
Ahhh...the half baked slithering impostor is back! Tell me...I just can't figure it out...where is the joy in impersonating another? Don't you like yourself? Unless...you're just a little boy...or, perhaps you were dropped on your head as a little boy...
>>>>This is so cool! It almost sounds like tRicky is schizophrenic and in an argument with himself!
It is true, been off the meds a few days, just give me a few minutes and I will respond to myself
>>>>I do hope that racists like you stop committing these horrific crimes.
What have I said that is racist?
>>>And believe me, the greater majority of white Americans do not see the world in terms of race like you do.
Don't deign to tell me what "white America" thinks you numbnut
Don't deign to tell me what "white America" thinks. I am white America, you numbnut. And believe me, the greater majority of white Americans do not see the world in terms of race like you do. We do not need any additional assurances related to race from the President.
I do hope that racists like you stop committing these horrific crimes.
