    KC hate crime virtually unreported

I live in a very large city and there are very few crimes like this one that occur. But when someone spray paints a racial slur on a garage door directed at a minority it is all over the news, the Mayor and chief of police are often pressured for numerous verbal responses and to take action. Why the do you think this incident is going unnoticed? This poor kid was set on fire.

You noticed it and a quick search shows it well reported in the press. People seem genuinely outraged, as they should. So what exactly makes you think the incident has gone unnoticed?

It was 10 days before it was reported by the NYDN. A New York not a KC paper. This kids life was threatend. The higest forms of government, local and federal, need to speak out to show hate crime against any race will not be tollerated.
When has the president cited a specific hate crime directed at a white person?
This is a high profile incident and great opportunity for the president to issue a statement to illustrate racism is alive and well amongst all races and crimes of this type will not be tollerated.
