I find it interesting that the DOJ finds having a requirement to show a photo ID so discriminating, demeaning, and unfair in order to vote.
The DOJ isn’t filing lawsuits to stop asking people to show a photo ID to cash checks, buy plane tickets, etc., only when it is required to vote. I wonder how many of those without a photo ID making it so difficult to vote have a credit card or bus pass? In my part of the country a bus pass even for the disabled has a photo of the user.
If having to prove who you are is unfair, then it should be unfair everywhere should it not?
