    Obama selects Marxists campaign slogan

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word "Forward"

Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications. Vladimir Lenin founded the publication "Vpered" (the Russian word for "forward") in 1905. Soviet propaganda film-maker Dziga Vertov made a documentary whose title is forward

    • Barack Obama was ia member of a Socialist Party called the "New Party" in 1996, it was irrefutably confirmed again. The New Party was evidently a "piggyback" party for some candidates, whereby they could take advantage of the support of Socialists, on some occasions having "dual membership" with another party. Obama was one such candidate, who sought out the support of Socialists by being a member of the party. Obama's predeliction for saying he's one thing whilst being another has caught up to him again.

    • You're right. He should have chosen a word more attuned to tea party tastes:

      Backward.

    • ted nugent may address C of C in dallas, W'new hometown. lowlife.

    • Obama is all about slogans. We don't need to stinking tax reform, (real reform, not the playground crap going on in Congress) or anything else of value, like a budget, like stopping the bleeding of all his 'green investments' that keep going broke, not creating the jobs he keeps promising while all the new jobs reports are 'unexpectedly' lower than the last one.

He is into good speeches as long as his teleprompter is working. He wants to call everyone out for their 'aggressive' talk then gets aggressive and stupid in his off the cuff remarks.

He is into hiring his Wall Street buddies and all the ex-lobbyists (some of them not so ex) and complaining about all the rich dudes, except the ones that support him.

The Buffet Rule trash is just that, that change wouldn't make an anthill’s worth of difference in our economy or tax structure...just more smoke and mirrors and slogans.

We need a leader that has created and followed budgets, has had to hire and fire people (Obama just ahs to watch as they resign in shame) and actually created a job or two. Obama fits none of that bill of goods. He was a nobody when he came in, he will again be a nobody when he goes out. He brings nothing to the table of real value. Good riddance in November.

    • It is so easy to see, it's what China is doing, taking customers. They may take it all, thank you Apple etc, very much. Thank you Apple for all the jobs, just what are you going to do with all that cheap labor cash on hand? Hard to believe right wing nj's hold onto a proven faied belief, especially when few or none aren't even in the over 250k adjusted gross income category. They don't even understand AGI from what I have seen. They probably go to hrblock with their 1040EZ.

Too bad the President couldn't get his way, the recovery would have been much faster and stronger.

      GET the tea party OUT

    • Mike Rose is an idiot. So what, so is Joe Biden and he is next in line if anything happens to Obama. That alone should scare most away from voting for another Obama/Biden ticket.

    • This link is titled 'Employees on nonfarm payrolls by industry sector and selected industry detail'

It does not show what the unemployment level is; it shows the numbers of people on payrolls. It has no comparison to what it was three years ago, two years ago or any other measureable time frame.

It does not show how many people that WERE employed on non-farm payrolls are no longer and how long they have been looking.

You can post all the charts you want, you're a brain washed liberal that does exactly what you decry...you believe anything that a liberal politician tells you. You believe all that you hear in the news unless it comes from Fox, and then it must be a lie.

You're as near brain dead when it comes to politics as one can get.

Your opinion is your opinion. Your opinion simply because it is yours and you think everyone else that isn’t on your team is an idiot DOES NOT make it fact. Every chart published even by the government on the Internet is not always a FACT and tells the complete story.

I listen to MSM newscasts; I read the newspaper daily along with several periodicals that discuss politics in this country from both sides of the issues. I haven’t even see Fox news for about a week. I don’t need one source. I don’t like one source of information because it gets slanted and twisted like your posts.

It’s all mind over matter, I don’t mind and you don’t matter. If you understand all the issues and have all the solutions and know exactly what the government does, why are you not rich and famous or at least somewhere besides this board making a fool of yourself?

Oh for crying out loud to be sure.

what a bunch of horse manure.

Romney: "Social Security Numbers Don't Come In A Three Pack," VOTE ROMNEY!

    • did anyone teach you it takes customers, in this case the huge middle class, to sell to and make profits? First the customers, then the profits, then the adding of jobs. It works like that. When the customers have more to spend, what happens? When the customers have less to spend, what happens? Giving tax breaks to the rich creates very little to no jobs.
