And if you dare to question the Emperor's new clothes...

And so it begins, those that dare to question the magical change in the unemployment rate one month before a presidential election are labeled nuts, cooks and conspiracy theorists.

Further we are told by the administration and their concubines in the MSM that it is totally impossible for these numbers to be manipulated for political purposes.

So there you have it, those that disagree with the administration are nuts, cooks and conspiracy theorist and those that don't are brilliant.

A very successful politician once said that if you are going to tell a lie to the masses make it a big one, because a majority will be believe that it would be implausible for you to tell such a whopper. He further stated how important it was to continue telling the lie, because eventually the people will believe it to be true.

After saying this, I would like to send my condolences to those honest BLS employees that were forced to stand behind and support this excrement sandwich.

    • And they told us that it was impossible for the numbers from the BLS to be anything other than correct and that anyone that would dare to question them was a nut or a cook.

And then today we find out that the numbers reported today may have some problems because one of the 57 states was unable to get their numbers in on time.

But the BLS assures us that the numbers should be trusted because they made allowances for the missing numbers from the state (now we know that the state is California) and the report should be fairly close.

Honestly folks you just can't make this stuff up.

Oh wait, lost my head it's Bush's fault, the video made them do it, and now the dog chewed up my California numbers.

    • It's not if you dare. It is if you are nutty, cooky or paranoid enough to question the report. Don't give this tactic of hacks the respectablility of being daring and act like being insulted for it some sort of terrible punishment. It's idiocy and worthy of insult.

Especially in your case. We all saw you quote BLS figures you though favored your party in one thread, and then call them lies in another. Not only are you nutty, cooky and paranoid. You are a partisan hack with no interest in this beyond how you can use it to trick honest Americans.

You'll make a great party operative in China when you finally move there.

    • There are so many lies being told about most everything that people become totally confused and give up. The Ponzi swindler recently sent to prison was interviewed there and told the reporter that "The whole government is one big Ponzi swindle". He should know as he swindled 50 billion from people. The whole thing will collapse as any Ponzi scheme does eventually.

    • The Quote of the Decade:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

      ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Yet another quote that Obama likely has never read:

"There are two ways to conquer & enslave a nation.
One is by the sword. The other is by debt."

      -John Adams 1826
