    This from the guy who is forever preaching that everything will be just fine if we all just will pay for our stuff.

    It seems ricky's messaging is clashing.

    • Yeah. Pay for your stuff. I'm sure, thirty years in the future, there will be plenty of people my age ending long and successful careers at Chrysler & GM, their supplier companies, and their dealers. Like you, many of them will claim they don't have to pay for their stuff because they never got anything from government. That's what public investment in the economy is all about.

      It is not about saving the offshore accounts of bondholders who invest in failing companies, assuming the government will bail them out.

      You invest in AT&T, I assume. Do you really think the success of your investment in a PUBLIC utility company does not depend on government?
