"every thing the government gives to people is what they have taken away from other people"
Actually, that's what I'm shooting for. That is not what is happening. Much of what the government gives people is financed by debt. Much of the money the government spends is spent on interest on that debt.
My goal is that whatever the government spends is financed by taxes, not debt. I think that is the best way to moderate spending. This is in contrast to "Starve the Beast" philosophy of Norquist, which encourages deficit spending in hopes of bankrupting the government.
I don't see how six people disagree with the one rational post I have seen from you. I think they just see your name and disagree without even reading what you posted. The best way to achieve your goal is by cutting the spending for schools, defense, retirement for federal employees including Congress and the president, wages for government employees, agricultural payouts for not growing crops, etc. For a complete list go to Ron Paul's web site if it is still up.

Unfortunately that is not the goal of and hasn't been the goal of Congress for decades, particularly the 40 years the Democrats ruled Congress. I think that is what several of the Republicans are asking that they attempt for a change...change, you know that favorite subject of our current President. Perhaps starting to starve the beast would encourage the beast to begin a weight reduction program on its own.
Besides, who cares what your goals are, you are simply an indistinctive poster on a Yahoo message board. You don’t make policy, create, or pass any laws. You’re just sharing your opinions and going out of your way to demean any that doesn’t agree with yours. You don't discuss, you mock, annoy, make fun of, and refuse to consider any that are not of the same thinking. Basically you’re just selfish and mean.
