    U.S. Failure

"They", is anybody who has a part in taking the money which I (or you) loaned those buttheads at low, or no interest rates over the last 45 years. Much of this does fall on the Republican side, who I was foolish enough to think ("they") would do the right thing. "They" are the ones who are unwillng to compromise on the behalf of all of us. Fed, Dems, and GOP. 'They suck and should be removed ASAP. Obama needs to call Boehner, Reid, and McConnell into a padded room, with pencils and paper, and solve this favorably on behalf of us Americans, or they don't leave the room to even take a leak.

    • When have the Democrats compromised? They insist every event or decision is a crisis and that the other side, to quote ding#$%$, has a gun the head of America. Now he claims he won't even discuss anything about the debt ceiling and it’s his way or shut everything down.

They appointed a commission to suggest what needed to be done to begin to resolve some of our economic problems and he ignored them. He would not compromise on health care and along with Nut Job Nancy insisted we had to pass the bill even if he and many other didn't understand the entire bill. He wouldn't compromise on tax increases and his cohorts in Congress are now saying they are still not through with increasing taxes but will not sit down for any meaningful discussions about spending reductions.

He is not satisfied with the status quo, he doesn't want to continue to spend and go further into debt, and he insists we have to increase revenue to spend MORE! Has he not looked outside his windows lately? We cannot continue on the path of unlimited spending.

I know Ricky will respond with a thousand words about the Grand Bargain, that was not so grand and not much of a bargain, but nothing has changed except that it is getting worse.

That is not the 'change' we need.
