To all the DoomsDayers from last night

Actually, the question is when will it go up, not if it will go up. Ignore the short term noise and buy pullbacks like this if you plan to hold for the long term. T is a great long term hold for the 5%+ dividend alone. If you can't see that then you're either blind or completely stupid.

    • Pressure on margin, 10B write down, massive debt and increased competition from Sprint after merger. Long term T has some issues.

      • yeah, its in such a bad position, so bad that its annually increased the divy for 10+ years now. Sprint is a totally different type of phone, personally I would never use Sprint because I travel all over the world so I buy local SIM cards to cut costs. I'm not the only one either. All company's have to deal with these types of problems so these 'issues' should be no surprise. The debt you speak of is not an issue at all. People need to stop worrying about headline news and just relax and enjoy the years and years of divy payments. I have this stock in my 401k and its been very good to me since I bought it in the lows 20s.
