1) Claims the market will go down; and
2) Goes on to say the untilities and telecoms are destined to be the worst performers and the stocks to avoid.
Apparently, this young lady hasn't heard of the parameter called "BETA." Telecom and utilities have practically the lowest beta one can think of. If we are to believe her forecast of a steep market drop, then these two sectors are likely to drop the least. Typical beta for these type of stocks is 0.5 or less.
Richard Bey said it the best "Where do they find these people?" I can't believe CNBC would put these kind of people before the camera.
