Is it “a” killing field? It’s comparable to many urban areas. Is it “the” killing field? Hardly. It’s not even in the top 15. Do you people ever attempt to actually do any research about anything you say? If you need to try to make a political point that all murderers are motivated by political affiliation, so be it. I’m certain that many other socio-economic factors enter into it, but that would require some actual thinking on your part, which, as Bobby Jindall has told you, is not your strong suit.

Murders occur at a much greater rate per 100k population in black areas. The fact that blacks in the country are in the high 90 percentile democrats is a separate but related issue.
I see it as the gov't saying take it from us instead of robing and killing to get enough to get by. -
Tell it to the 500 plus folks murdered in Chicago in 2012.
Better yet, tell it to the parents of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was murdered this year.

Fools think corruption is partisan. I will say though that corruption seems to run deeper with those calling themselves "Democrat". Most of those that go to prisdon do so because they have crossed the wrong people, not because of any intrinsic "justice" in the system.
