    Not too shabby.

The build up to ex-div for T has been better than expected relative to the market as a whole. For longs and div capture kids, this bodes well. I almost expect the post record date sell off price to remain above the mid 37's. Am I delusional or have I over-qualified my statements?

    Sentiment: Buy

    • You're OK Slug. There is no need for you to seek acceptance in this forum for your thinking. The trolls and idiots that say the company will sink like the Titanic will come out of the woodwork after you.

Use the ignore flag and go on about your business as I do by receiving dividends and gaining modest price appreciation for years to come. When I pass it on to my son, he will do the same thing for his family. Only bail if there is a catastrophic event that requires a change in strategy. You sound smart enough to understand that.

That's my take. Any #$%$ that is not to my way of thinking disappears to the world of IGNORE.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • The 50 DMA crossed above the 200 DMA at $35.64 yesterday. I would not be surprised to see a drop to that level by 4/19/13. We are stretched pretty tight at the present level.

      • Tell you what Wilkie, I don't give a hoot about a 200 DMA or 2,000,000 DMA. I OWN the stock. Have owned it since 1980. Will continue owning it until it changes hands to my son.

The company treated me well as an employee and continues to reward me well into retirement. In fact, my cashout in 2002 went right into stock. You and I are at opposite ends of how to investment. Thats fine. You like to play it day by day and hope to profit. I put my money into stock certificates and do profit.

As long as we both are above water is all that matters my friend. But I know one thing for certain. I haven't lost any money and don't have to deal with schedule D losses at tax time. I sleep well at home on the Bombay Beach Riviera, cruise the Sea and catch lots of fish from the Niland dock where our boat is anchored.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
