"We're asking people like you to speak out, to let us know if you're one of the 85 percent of Americans who've already benefitted from the health care law, and make a public stand in support of Obamacare."
85%???? Obama must have had a dream. Maybe he forgot to put the decimal point in front of .85%.
Obama Care will probably turn out like VA care. I'm a tier two disabled vet. I was told it would take a year for me to see a doctor in Phoenix. If I want to drive fifty miles I can see one in Globe in thirty days. I asked about emergencies. I was told to call para-medics. They would take me to a private hospital from which I could "apply" for admission to the VA Hospital. I had excellent care from Kaiser for over forty years even for the service connected disability. God help us if "Big Bubba" looks out for us.
Thank you for your service to our country. Strange how much better VA care is in California. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the way Obama is treated by Arizona. Just a coincidence. I don't know why you moved to Arizona but Texas would have been my choice. I am a native Californian and doubt that I will ever leave.
Where do we go to speak out. I would like to express feelings about the 35% increase in premimums and higher deductable with more increases on the way. Not to mention emergency rooms having been turned into free clinics for anythig but emergencies. I would also like to speak about how Obama wants Obamacare for everyone but wants no part of it for himself same with all democrats in congress who forced it on us who now want no part of it.
"emergency rooms having been turned into free clinics for anythig but emergencies"
You're a few decades behind, one of the reasons to have a new health care law was to address this long standing problem. Health care was broken and unsustainable, now we have progress towards a solution. Next year congress gets to go on the exchange like everyone else, what's your problem. As time goes on we can work toward further solutions.
Postive, upbeat, optimistic thinking to how to solve problems rather than pessimistic, negative, depressing adherence to what didn't work.
If you have a plan nothing changes. My plan went up $6/mo this year, the lowest increase I can remember. Medicare premiums went down this year.
