    My Skittles Run !!

While visiting my father, I was 'new' to his Gated Community .. I decided to make a Skittles run.
On the return trip I notice someone following & watching me.

With me being from the 'ghetto' and new to this neighborhood, this caused great concern for my safety.
I hurried home and reported this to my father.

My father informed me that they had a "neighborhood watch program" there and he would alert them immediately.

After reporting this, and brief description of me (his son) .. a 17 y/o black male wearing a 'hoodie' - they said YES, it was 'neighborhood watch" observing me .. because they had never seen me in the neighborhood before !!

My dad thanked them, and later that night I actually got to meet some of them .. since I would be living there.

..... AND NO ONE DIED THAT NIGHT ..... (see how simple, non-violent & non-racist that was)

    Sentiment: Buy

    • A few years back there was a Black with dreadlocks wandering White neighborhoods late at night. Cops stopped him numerous times to check him out. He then tried sueing the police for targetting Blacks. Funny, I'm White and I was stopped a few times early in the evening in a business district. I used to park my car after work north of downtown San Diego out of the metered and timed parking areas after work and walk several blocks to a movie in town. I would get out after dark and walk back to my car. I was stopped several times and asked what I was doing there. Once I explained they left. I never felt picked on as the cops were just doing their job.

You park you car north of the city and walk back into the city to avoid paying a parking meter?????? Wow, that’s impressive information to provide to other like-minded knowledgeable investors. Thanks for sharing that, lew! When you and lavendar went to the Drive-In together, did you hide in the trunk?

    • You are what you are and you demonstrate it repeatedly.

    • It's hard to tell what you are trying to say, but joking about a young unarmed man walking home, and being murdered by a bullet to the chest, by a self appointed vigilante who was told not to follow by the police, isn't funny at all. Calling a dead kid a punk is as low as it goes. It's pitiful.
