    Obama admin spying on congress

During testimony before members of Congress, Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) asked Attorney General Eric Holder whether his department’s expansive monitoring of the communications records of journalists extended to members of the Congress. Holder refused to answer the question

Holder's non-response can be interpreted as the Obama admin is spying on the conservative members of congress just like the IRS was used to attack conservative groups.

    • I'm sure you heard what the snitch said, as to why he did all this.
      He said, and I quote:
"I grew tired of Obama, as all he was doing was continuing the BUSH / GOP programs."
Fair and Balanced .. .. but not a word of that on Foreign owned Fox News,
the Foreign Owned Media arm the GOP uses to spew out their propaganda.

    • There was an aide in the Senate named Baker years back. They had a hearing involving him. Every time the questioning would get hot he would grin and tap a briefcase beside him. The questing would suddenly shift. This man was close to LBJ. LBJ got personal info on reps from J. Edgar Hoover. Gee, wonder what was in that briefcase? There was enough on LBJ that he should have been impeached. From his drunkeness to his buddy Billy Sol Estes.

    • No matter how Holder would have responded he would have been accused of perjury. If the government is placing all calls made in the USA into their data bank, that would include Congress as well as the President and Eric. That doesn't constitute spying.

      • Your definition of spying is peculiar to say the least. Any one with common sense KNOWS they do more than file these records away. This type of thing has gone on for a long time. I know they monitor these boards as well as others. Doesn't bother me as I know I've been watched since the sixties. If they start moving against people like me on BOTH sides of the fence there will be civil war The American people are not going to tolerate the billionaire so and sos that run both parties breaking our laws.

      • It absolutely is spying. Why does the government need your phone records in their database. Any agreement you have about your phone records is between you and your service provider not the government.

Spying involves a government or individual obtaining information considered secret or confidential without the permission of the holder of the information.
