You got to hand it to old Mr. Slick

Just when you think old Mr. Slick and his party are going to be held accountable for their actions you read the following as reported in the Washington Post:

"The Obama administration will not penalize businesses that do not provide health insurance in 2014, the Treasury Department announced Tuesday.

Instead, it will delay enforcement of a major Affordable Care Act requirement that all employers with more than 50 employees provide coverage to their workers until 2015."

While the Republicans whale and moan with great gnashing of teeth, old Mr. Slick just winks and laughs at their feeble attempts to play in big boy politics.

Let's face it folks the current leaders of the Republican party are nothing more than feckless wonderers in the political landscape and deserve to be primaryed and replaced.

Again you sure got to hand it to old Mr. Slick. He sure knows how to play in the big boy game.

"In your heart you know he is right."

    • Well Frogg, I heard Axelrod just the morning say the decision to delay had nothing to do with the up coming midterm election. So, there you have it. The truth and nothing but the truth.

Typical...much ado about nothing. Hey, boys, your own Chamber of Commerce and The National Retail Federation seems to disagree with you...obviously you and frogboy seem to think you know more about business than they do, because they called it ”the right and wise approach”. It seems you really don’t care what the subject is, but if it comes from this Administration, it’s gotta’ be bad. How pathetically un-American.

“Business groups including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce -- which largely opposed the health care law called the Affordable Care Act, or ACA -- have long sought a delay in the rules requiring them to report on their employees' health coverage and to pay penalties.
‘They're not ready, we're not ready, and rather than plow ahead, they're going to take the right and wise approach,’ said Neil Trautwein, employee benefits policy counsel for the National Retail Federation. ‘The last thing the administration or the business community needs is for the ACA to come out of the gate sideways.’ – Huff Post Business, 7/2

    • I stayed registered as a Republican for a long time as I felt I might be able to sway the primary vote. I gave up and now am an Independent. Unless something drastic happens I shall never vote for another Republican. I gag when I see "Dem." beside someones name too. These people are all bought and paid for by the NWO crowd of BOTH parties. It may be cash or blackmail or some of both. Who cares, they are all corrupt.

      • Even Ron Paul & Family INC nauseate me. In retrospect, I think he was similar to Dennis Kucinich, a loud critic of the U.S. govt but an entrenched party operative. They could lecture and vote in opposition to the majority simply because they were no threat to the majority vote. Both made it appear as though freedom and democracy exists. Real useful tools, imo, probably willing tools
