Must own on the day of RECORD to qualify and subsequently collect the dividend payout.
Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe that it takes three days to record your purchase of a stock. So doesn't that mean that you are not a "stockholder of record" until 3 days after you buy a stock?
T's Investor Relations web site shows today as the dividend record date. Ex-dividend was the 8th.
Day of record is 2 days after ex-div day.
