  • Leaders like Wendy Davis want the continued killing of babies by abortion. I am certain that among the 60 million American babies killed since Roe v Wade there would have been another leader like MLK. What a tragedy

    • Margaret Sanger was a major reason for the abortion craze and for a very good reason. She was one of the survivors of her mother's 14 pregnancies; eleven of which she grew up with in spite of her worthless dad and her mothers early death. Her mantra was "every child a wanted child" and she dedicated her whole life to her cause. When you consider that the 60 million abortions were of unwanted children and then consider that MLK was a very wanted child it does shed a different light on abortion. James E. Ray was an unwanted child and a criminal from early childhood. Too bad he was not aborted (which was illegal when he was born). While I view abortion as murder and realize that some very great people were "unwanted", I can't help but think that maybe we are better off without those 60 million unwanted people.

      • Margaret Sanger the founder of planned parenthood was a racist and admitted eugenicist. Eugenicists strongly espoused racial supremacy and “purity,” particularly of the “Aryan” race. If Sangar had her way there would not have ever been a MLK, he fit the mold exactly of who she believed should have been aborted.

        Sangar is credited with the N e g r o project and quoted the following - " We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the N e g r o is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the N e g r o population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

      • We have always had sex ed in schools only now the teachers have taken it over from the kids and a lot of teachers have gone overboard and ended up in jail.

      • Well, typically those are liberal ideas and actions they work hard to implement. I disagree with them but I guess in the overall scheme, it beats killing babies!

        By-the-by, didn't anyone catch Slick Willy's speech yesterday? I am sure that Obama was not too happy with several of his comments. His Slickness has always had a way with words and did another fine job yesterday. I got bored about half way through Obama's latest campaign speech and turned it on to a ball game. MLK III also gave a very impressive and motivating speech. His little sister started out well but ended up sounding more like the good Rev. Wright.

    • And maybe another George Washington Carver too. How come we don't have a national Peanut Butter day or at least name some streets after Carver? Both of these men deserve a lot of remembering.

    • If MLK was alive today he would get the Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Herman Cain treatment from democrats
