"The truth, you can't handle the truth"

Recently I received this note from Erin Hannigan, who is a member of our "dear leader's" "Truth Team":

"There are 17 million uninsured young Americans who are now eligible to get health insurance thanks to Obamacare. And -- better yet -- almost 90 percent of those young people could get some form of financial assistance for getting covered.

When we hear about shady groups trying to convince young people that getting health insurance is bad, too expensive, or just not necessary for them, Truth Team is fighting back, getting out the facts and making sure young people know their options.

The good news is the numbers show that young people are seeing through it -- polls show only 5 percent of young Americans say they don't want or need health insurance."

Finally another truth to add to our list of truths like:

o "if you are happy with your health care insurance, you can keep your health care insurance"
o "your health care insurance cost will be reduced by $2,500"
o "if you want to keep your doctor you can keep your doctor"

One thing I like for sure is when a government official tells me the truth, especially the fact that before "Obamacare" these people were ineligible to get health insurance. Did you notice the use of the words "almost" and "could". Now that is what I really like in my truth, a definite MAYBE.

But trust me, the loyal opposition of establishment republicans (e.g., John (don't call me Shirley) McCain, or Lindsey (Goober) Graham and John (that's a tax) Roberts) will successfully #$%$ defeat from the jaws of victory and guarantee that the president and his party successfully overcome these "minor glitches".

By the way I wonder who is going to pay for the subsidies that "almost" 90% of young people "could" get? Maybe some of those newly hired temporary workers might want to chip in a couple of extra bucks to help out a young person or maybe not.

"In your heart you know he is right."

    • YEP .. this a.m. (CBS) news - a florida resident paying $54 per. mo. under Blue Cross NOW, and will be cancelled in Jan. 2014
To be re-insured under the govt. mandated plan of ACA will cost her $589 per mo. .. an increase of X10 .

As the 'now de-funked' t-ricky"65" (aka echo2165) would say - "but you may qualify for GOVT. SUBSIDIES" ?
Sooo, the Govt. subsidies ?? Aren't they STILL paid by the American TAXPAYER ??
Well toss that de-funked t-ricky"65" (aka echo2165) another banana, good job bozzo !!

But back this lady - She is "happy" with her CURRENT PLAN and the benefits provided .. and wants to know why she can't keep it (as the PRESIDENT PROMISED)

JUST another LIE from our President - aka "The Liar IN Chief" (mmm, wonder who's fault it is THIS TIME ??)

      • Apple vs. Obamacare by Neil Cavuto

Apple’s stuff is cool. This healthcare thing is not.

When Apple launches something new, people stand in line to get it. When the government launches this healthcare thing, folks couldn’t get online, so they said, “the hell with it.”

Apple makes it simple. The government makes it tough.

Apple has a rare screwup. Its fixes it, and fast. The government is a total screwup and just makes the problem worse.

Apple creates stuff people don’t even need, but they want. The government creates stuff it says people need, but they do not want.

Apple knows its customers. The government couldn’t care less about its customers.

Apple performs because it has to. It has plenty of competition. The government doesn’t perform because it doesn’t have to. It’s got no competition.

Apple keeps innovating. The government’s long stopped trying.

You can learn any Apple devices courtesy of a tiny little pamphlet. This healthcare thing, try 2,000 plus pages, and good luck with it.

Apple designers show you what’s in their stuff before you buy their stuff. Government designers say you first have to buy their stuff to realize, hey, you have just been stuffed.

Apple knows that customer is king. The government seems to think it is king.
