    A Free Ukraine?

Despite the efforts of the Russian government and their helpers from other nations, the Tea Party Patriots of the Ukraine may have just pulled off the impossible:

o "Ukraine's opposition has asserted its authority over Kiev and parliament in a day of fast-paced events."
o "MPs have replace the parliamentary speaker and attorney general, appointed a new pro-opposition interior minister and voted to free jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko"
o "Police appear to have abandoned their posts across the capital."

I know it may be too early to know for sure, but it appears that the freedom loving Tea Party Patriots of the Ukraine have come a long way towards pulling their country out of the clutches of their former Soviet rulers.

I'm sure that we have not heard the last from Comrade Vlad and his colleagues in high places in other governments, but any walk to freedom always starts with a first step, and this appears the be a good one.

God bless Yulia Tymoshenko and her people, and God bless Tea Party Patriots everywhere!

"In your heart you know he is right."

YES, the Ukraine IS FREE TODAY .. and as the usual peaceful organization of the Ukrainian "Tea Party" conservatives have begun a MASSIVE debris clean-up from their streets etc. and maintain their demeanor of personal order of 'character' and co-operating with 'law & order' of a new FREE Country of the Ukraine

There is NO Rioting .. , in joint co-operation with the police (which are armed) .. local volunteers have armed themselves with sticks & bats to protect their neighborhoods & citizens from whatever THUGS are left ... they expect no trouble, but just in case ??

Hail to the Tea Party Ukrainians

.... (psst, 'their' Obama has run for the hills and gone into hiding !!) ....

      • LOL! Just last week the Tea Party was condemning Obama for "drawing another line in the sand" in the Ukraine and challenging Putin. Putin, who you Tea Brains love because he says mean things about Obama.

Now suddenly you are siding with a group of people whose goal it is to have closer relations with Europe, which you hate for being Socialist, because they pulled down statues of Lenin.

But do you want to know how I know the Ukrainian protesters are absolutely nothing like the Tea Party? The average age of the protesters was somewhat south of 70. It would be very funny watching you bitter old guys battling riot police, all the while condemning socialism while demanding increases in Medicare and Social Security.

If I had any doubt that you people were a joke, your attempt to co-opt the Ukrainian protests has removed it.

      • .. (psst, 'their' Obama has run for the hills and gone into hiding !!)

        Wish ours would!

    • Gee, I bet the protesters in the Ukraine are really glad to hear a bunch of idiots in America are trying to ride their coattails. I'm sure that's of great solace to the families of the dead and to those who were tortured. But I am betting that they appreciate Susan Rice's overt warning to Russia about sending military aid, much, much more.

You're a real piece of work.

    • A little history about Russian Holodomor (translated man made famine) in the Ukraine:

o 1917 -"The Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin take power in Russia."
o 1922 - "The Soviet Union is formed with Ukraine becoming one of the republics."
o 1924 - :After Lenin's death, Joseph Stalin ascends to power.
o 1928 - "Stalin introduces a program of agricultural collectivization that forces farmers to give up their private land, equipment and livestock, and join state owned, factory-like collective farms."
o 1929 - "Many Ukrainian farmers refuse to join the collective farms. Stalin introduces a policy of "class warfare" in the countryside in order to break down resistance to collectivization.
o 1930 - 1.5 million Ukrainians fall victim to Stalin's "dekulakization" policies, Over the extended period of collectivization, armed dekulakization brigades forcibly confiscate land, livestock and other property, and evict entire families. Close to half a million individuals in Ukraine are packed into freight trains, and shipped to remote, uninhabited areas such as Siberia where they are left, often without food or shelter. A great many, especially children, die in transit or soon thereafter.
o 1932-1933 - The Soviet government sharply increases Ukraine's production quotas, ensuring that they could not be met. Starvation becomes widespread. A decree is implemented that calls for the arrest or execution of any person found taking as little as a few stalks of wheat or any possible food item from the fields where he worked.
o 1933 - By June, at the height of the famine, people in Ukraine are dying at the rate of 30,000 a day, nearly a third of them are children under 10. Between 1932-34, approximately 4 million deaths are attributed to starvation within the borders of Soviet Ukraine.

The tactics of the left haven't changed much since the 1930's. Let's hope the Tea Party Patriots of the Ukraine never give up and never forget.

      • The largest grain company in the world shipped all the Ukraines wheat out. Henry Kissinger was a close friend of the family that did it. They are headquartered in Belgium. Can't remember the name off hand.

      • ...
“A little history about Russian…After Lenin's death, Joseph Stalin ascends to power…The tactics of the left haven't changed much…God bless Tea Party Patriots everywhere!” – frog boy

        Thank you, Joseph Goebbels.

Ah, yes…if comparing the duly elected President of the United States to Adolph Hitler doesn’t resonate loudly enough with the stooges of the far right, why not take the next logical step and insinuate that he’s also Lenin and Stalin.

Propaganda is traditionally an appeal to emotion, not intellect. Historically, the more incendiary nonsensical blather that can be thrown out, regardless of veracity, the better. It would now appear that frog boy has anointed himself as the Tea Party Minister of Propaganda.

"That propaganda is good which leads to success, and that is bad which fails to achieve the desired result," he wrote. "It is not propaganda's task to be intelligent; its task is to lead to success." – Joseph Goebbels, Third Reich propaganda minister.

"In your heart you know he is right." – frog boy’s enigmatic affection for Barry Goldwater’s campaign slogan which caused him to lose the election by the largest landslides in history, which brought down many other Republican candidates as well.

Do you suppose that froggie is actually a double agent of the left, attempting to make Republicans look preposterously asinine?

    • I haven't read up on it yet but aren't the "TEA Party Patriots" raising a ruckus in Venezuela also :-)
