This URL contains a November FCC press release on access charges: 36 billion in access charge revenue for the LECs! Given that long distance revenues are around $75 billion, this strongly suggests that access charges are well above 2 cents and implies that AT&T is paying well over $10 billion in access charges. How sweet victory is! I rest my case!
I have changed my mind. You are beginning to sound like you work for LUCENT now while you are truely qualified to work for one of the local bells, perhaps Bell Atlantic and do-nothing. Ray Smith's job is going to be available soon. You should consider applying. You can always tell them you know MCI's forecasts and other important data.
Hey fuji, I happen to work for one of the Big 3 LD carriers...the tier 1 players. Everything TA has stated happens to be true, while your argument is infactual and very weak at best. Do yourself a favor and listen to what he says....you might actually learn something. You need that! Later
