Comparative value of 20% of AWE

If my math is correct, a few short months ago
when T sold 15% of AWE to its employees for about $29
per share, that 360 million shares brought in almost
11 billion dollars. Now T is selling 20% of AWE(462
million shares) for 9 billion dollars which is about
    $19.50 per share.

    Please, somebody tell me my
math is wrong! Or has CMA AND T BOD perpetrated one of
the most deceitful transactions in history upon their
own employees and the T investors in
    general?

By the way, is anyone else having trouble
understanding how this sale of 20% of AWE affects the
distribution of AWE to T shareholders as was promised by CMA
and T BOD? Oh, I guess that changed to, didn't it.
    Now we get to exchange our T shares for AWE shares;
That's if there are enough AWE shares to go around
according to their own statements recently sent to T
    shareholders.

I either need help with my understanding
of what is going on with T; Or I need counseling to
get rid of my paranoia; Or shame on CMA and T BOD.
