Been traveling the Florida coast line last 2 weeks looking for retirement property. Some of the values to be found are remarkable.
Sold 50% of the BONT stock for enough profit
to buy nice home in this depressed market.
Looking for the balance of my holding to cover me for a few years of relaxing on BONT. earnings.
This will be a very interesting week, as early news is calling for another plus comp reporting for retailers. I can only hope Bonton is one of them.
read the postings. Sold all positons avg 11.24 cents . Called for the stock to drop.
You make money both up side and down side.
Smart money puts a stop loss in place , and deals with a loss. Right now Bonton is not a stock to be long in. This stock has a pull back of 33% to 50 % before it settles down. To much year end selling pressures.
Flapagain187 have you made any money on this stock. The longs ran with this and made money.
Pulled out $489,000 on profits this year on BONT.
have you made even a $1 cracking very weak jokes over the last year?
If you look @ my multiple postings on this board about a year ago, I urged everyone to buy Bonton selling which was around $1.00 per share I thought it was a risk worth taking. At that time all of the loudmouths badmouthing the Company seemed to concentrate on how stupid Bonton Managerial leadership was, and how management didn't know what they were doing. Well in retrospect, Bonton Management apparently had a plan, and made Millions and Millions on this stock. Guess Management had the last laugh after all Huh? Guess they weren't so stupid after all, Huh? I topped six figures in profit this year thanks to Bonton, which wasn't hard to do considering the stock went up 1300% in 11 Months. Although I can't retire with what I made, it will sure make the next few years go alot easier for me. I wonder what those loudmouths from last year are doing these days?
Had to dump remaining shares. the run from $5 to $11.30 was great. Missed that $14.00 on the Gleim sell off. Still profit is a profit.
Home Market is still depressed in Florida, so choices are plenty to select from.
Bonton is at a dangerous point right now. Nov . and Dec. is when all their profits are made. The drop in Nov. comp. vs LY was a red flag on the pressure they will be under to pay off the Bond holders.
pierstar, could you share a little about your background? I bought BONT at 4, held down to 1 and sold for breakeven on the way back up. I am impressed you financed a retirement off the stock. How old are you? Are you planning to become a full time money manager now? Enjoy Florida.
I'm following you into BONT land. Invested all my retirement money in it today.
I really like work and all that money I had handy was making me lazy.
All retail is facing up........from six feet under.
BONT will easily roll all of it's debt. The lenders are looking for good places to place their excess......and after all what's better than BONT?
