    VERY dangerous political situation

If the PAN can convince the PRD's in the congress to open Pemex to private investment I would go very long on this etf. However, if there is no budging and more campesino protests in DF, it's time to short big time. I could see eww fall to the 20's if this happens.

    • How do you find out if / when a decision would be made. Thanks

      • When a decision is reached you'll be a very, very old person. Probably much too old to worry about whether to be long or short of EWW.PAN and PRD and El PRI have been arguing about this since PAN and PRD have existed.Mexicans in general have been debating this subject since 1934 when Pres.Larzaro Cardenas nationalized the oil industry. As long as Manuel Andres Lopez Obrador is alive and el PRD is still a viable political enity Pemex will not officially be open to outside investment.Pemex is a cesspool of corruption and has been picked clean for years. Production is off about 15+ % this yeareven though there are plenty of reserves , just no money for exploration/ production. I hardly think it's a dangerous political situation though.
