I remember reading from a previous conference call last year that EDAP was planning a meeting sometime this month with the FDA. I wonder if that is still going to be accurate even though, the IR lady said she wasn't sure. Is there any opinions on this. personally, I have never gotten an answer that satisfied me from her in a very long time and I know they have to be careful.
Don't know about the fda meeting (it will happen in due time) I cannot see any reason the fda would not ok the hifu......Been in use for years around the world and now with the updated/precision guided unit it should be a given. Urologists and there are a bunch of them will want them. My urologist group even have their own mini hospital, I will be consulting with them in march after my next psa test. On the investment side you have to have a few $$$ in the pot, I would say the more the better but be prudent. My interest however is the treatment for the localized cancer tumor sure beats radidation (neighbor had it down this past summer) he cannot be far from the bathroom any time of the day. Another neighbor had the robo excision (does not talk about it much. Anyway come on fda approve it.
