I am a long term holder of CHKP since Neta crashed the security markey back in early 99 (thank you very much)
You look at their revenues and their P/E and they look a lot better then 1 year ago. Do the regulars have any opinion on them. I would like to diversify a little of my CHKP (75% of my holdings) but don't know much about Neta.
Alot of us own a lot to Neta which crashed CHKP to $28-32 pre split
It should be able to get back to 40+. The own 85% of MCafee which the spun-off in november. It is possible it will be spunoff to shareholders. They were on a buying binge in 97-98 and when they bought network general, cybermedia, and dr solomans. They have had problems managing the different synergys of those co. I purchased alot in the teens and have been rewarded. I also sold when it was in the 60's. One of the better trades I made. I noticed FRI IBD had an article about software sales NETA was near bottom of list. I would stick around. It should be back into 30's in no time.
