    What you saw is normal

And it's been this way for a very long time. In the 1970's, as "for profit" became the norm, businessmen began making heath care decisions. A piece of expensive equipment needed to make a return on investment - the more the better. I was there and saw it firsthand. 60 minutes just found an egregious example of what happens to people when they enter the health care system in the USA. How do you think we ended up having the most expensive health care in the world by a wide margin? More than double the cost of any other country. Unchecked, it will bankrupt the nation.
