Split Simplified: Big Funds Can Buy Now

what part don't you think i understand, if you own 5000 shares you are getting 250 + 250 more, thus you have 500 shares, so right now my 5000 shares are worth $4,500, so if the conversion happenned today the stock price would be $9, or are you saying i should be doing this math using 250 shares as my base which would give us a price of $18

    • INSP (Infospace) did R/S late 2002...We all remember the wash out in tech then.It was below $2.00.$48.00 plus today with strong business model and plently marketshare..Corvis/Broadwing 1bil revs and more.63 mil outstanding shares? The R/S is more than added in this companies stock price.....R/S is to cut the dilution.Has nothing to do with company balance sheet or performance...........1 for 1 for existing shareholders is telling you....all is good.Patience here........don't be stupid. This will send the stock up...Probably close even or higher after the retail shake. My guess is an uptick after 1:30 today if Naz stays green...eom

    • Initially, on October 8, it is not a question of WORTH, it is a question of PRICE.

      92 CENTS mutiplied by 20 for 1 = $18.40 share.

Granted, BWNG will immediately double the number of shares, but THE MARKET will have the discretion of DETERMINING WORTH and adjusting down, not your 10 for 1 math of simply adjusting it down for the market.

THE MARKET will decide, and there will be substantially more potential buyers considering that many mutual funds will no longer be prohibited from buying the stock based on its old (Current) price. Potentially, there are a number of mutual fund managers that like the direction of Corvis-Broadwing that are currently prohibited from buying the stock now. However, these managers may see the potential and will be able to invest in the ONLY NATIONWIDE ALL-OPTICAL NETWORK and that also manufactures ITS OWN ALL-OPTICAL EQUIPMENT and is NOT OVER-VALUED, if anything VASTLY UNDER-VALUED by Benjamin Graham value metrics!

Good luck to all longs who act like longs!
